This course explores the core principles, strategies, and challenges of differentiated learning in contemporary education. The main objectives are to examine what differentiated instruction is, the different types of differentiation, how it can be effectively implemented, and whether it is feasible across different educational levels. Participants will engage with theoretical frameworks and practical models that support inclusive, student-centered teaching approaches. Special emphasis will be placed on how differentiated learning can be integrated into daily teaching practices to address the diverse needs, readiness levels, interests, and learning profiles of students. The course will also critically discuss the challenges educators may face in implementing differentiation in real-world classrooms, including issues of time management, curriculum constraints, and teacher preparedness. Through interactive activities, case studies, and reflection, participants will be encouraged to evaluate and enrich their own teaching practices using differentiation as a guiding principle. This course is designed for pre-service and early career teachers who want to build confidence and deepen their understanding of differentiated learning, with a focus on meeting diverse student needs through inclusive and responsive instructional practices.
